Glenn Walton

Editor, Motion Graphic Artist and Film Maker

Welcome!  I'm Glenn and want to thank you for stopping by.  You know, I really love every aspect of the creative process, and working together with clients, partners, and friends to reach the visual results.  To me, it's not work...it's just fun. 


Pressplayvideo really started 30 years ago when I was a young musician loving to bang on the drums, hack my way on the guitar, and write and play songs.  This led me down some awesome roads, including learning and starting a professional recording studio, touring the country as a drummer in bands, and the meaning of the word "hard work" to live your dream. 


While doing all this, I was trying to complete my degree at George Mason University when a key mentor in my life introduced me to video editing.  I found my calling and went on to work at the University TV Station, fulfill numerous internships, and familiarize myself with production gear.  Before even graduating, I was freelancing as an Avid editor at night which led me to many DC Post Houses both full-time and freelance.  In early 2000 I started pressplayvideo and never looked back.

We'll discuss your vision, needs, and how we (and my team) can best approach your project to exceed your expectations and work efficiently, effectively, and creatively.  We also often focus on paying attention to future-proofing and observing visuals that could expand the options for various channels. 

STORYBORAD & LAYOUT

Work together to define the concept and develop the key messages, vision, and audience to best tell your story.  Then design some mood boards to come into production with that supported approach in-place while also allowing flexibility during the creative process. 

THE FUN BEGINS!

Through the initial stages, come into the day with the right gear for what we're doing and how we're going to do it!  Acquire all the needed pieces with the post-production in mind, while also working collaboratively to make sure those special moments that pop-up aren't avoided or welcomed!

BRING IT ALL TOGETHER

With our storyboard, brand, and concept in place, work together every step of the way from initial selects and other media sharing, to reviewing motion design and rough cuts.  Review tools are in place to share notes and address all your concerns along the way and produce the best piece possible!
